Wanderlust - Atelier Brancusi

The atelier in Paris, is a reproduction by the architect Renzo Piano of a series of studios that Constantin Brancusi (1876 - 1957), originator of modern and abstract sculpture, worked and lived in. The sculptures are meticulously and idiosyncratic curated - often unpolished  and arranged in multitude to explore the objects' shapes and extreme proportions within the space they inhabit. The natural hues of stone, plaster, wood and metal in the studio creates the most exquisitely calming atmosphere, whilst; the combination and arrangement of earthy colours and organic shapes is soothing and sensual.
